Is there a recommendation on whether to user Windows 7 or Vista with a Wings 4 installation?
Initial reports for Windows 7 seem to be good in comparison to Vista, but obviously the functionality of wings must be the prime consideration.
Also this may seem like a stupid question, but is there any advantage to a 64-bit version of Windows when running Wings 4? (Also because this allows more than 4GB of RAM to be used).
Thanks for any replies.

So far I do not see any Problems with Platinum on Windows 7 Systems. 64 Bit Systems are in my opinion important as Platinum 4 is using quit a bit of Ram just for the operation. This is according to my task manager. In other respects so far, there are no real advantages but there may be in the future. If you work with Photoshop or PT Gui as stiching software, you can see a very fast workflow with such systems. Especialy on Workstations with 2 quadcore i7 Processors (16 virtual processors). On such systems the production of Grafikdata and movie rendering out of Platinum apear to me much faster. But I do not have any direct comparison anymore as I am using fast workstations only.
