unable to store project under version 6.4.0

I updated to the latest revision 6.4.0. I created a new project and am not able to store it. I get an error : " encountered an improper argument.

The file name is : MAR21_2019_Rev01. Until early this week I had never an issue like this. The project name on the identifier upper corner left is set: Noname and can not be saved.

Saving with the "save as" command works, but when opening the saved project I get the same error

Has anyone encountered such a problem lately ? What can be done as any change in a project can not be saved ?

Uninstall Wings 6. Please download the latest version of Wings 6 from our Website and install it.

Did you install Wings 6 from the USB stick? It is possible that an error occurred during the data transfer.

gibt es denn unterschiedliche 6.4.0 Versionen ?

Dann sollte man besser die 3. Stelle im Versionsnamen nutzen.
Woran kann ich erkennen, welche der 6.4.0 Versionen ich installiert habe?

Hallo, auf dem auf der Menu Leiste "?" clicken, dann kommt die Software Version die installiert ist, in meinem fall:
Version 6.4.0
revision: 16.11.2018 (r2043)
Auch die NBumber ist sichtbar sowie.

this is my problem too. So I uninstalled version 7, then installed 7.1. But the ability to save has not been restored ("improper argument" message still). Not only that, but now the picture does not display in full screen mode, only in window mode.
